Well we did it! A group of us braved the marauding witches and made it to the top of Pendle Hill, all in the aid of BBCs Country File Ramble for Children in need. We have raised an amazing total of £213 for this worthy cause - you can see this on our giving page.
We all met at 10am in Barley Car-park to see the hill shrouded in mist and cloud - ever hopeful we marched on - sure enough the cloud and mist disappeared and the Ogden family were most pleased we had not one, but two reservoirs named after them. Josh was only happy when he had most of the mud from the hill all over him and Bob had to climb everything in sight, Matthew was our head dog walker and bearing taker along with being our mascot with his yellow Pudsey hat. Ciaran had turned his left trainer into a fish tank and not to be outdone Jasmine claimed her trainers had turned into a sea!
We all made it safely to the top and back down again and a good day was had by all and friendships made, along with raising money for charity - not half bad!
