Our Little Dragons class is specifically for the 4-8 year old group and is focused on developing discipline, respect and self control in a fun active class.(Newcomers welcome) all in a  safe environment taught by Iain (our Chief Instructor) who is professionally trained, enhanced DBS checked, fully insured and a senior member of the UK Soo Bahk Do MDK federation (the sole governing body for the art in the UK). 

Class is suitable for everyone above the grade of 1st Gup when we focus on syllabus work preparing students for the next grading and refining techniques participants in this class are required to assist in the intermediate level class prior to attending this training session. Classes taught by Iain (Our Chief Instructor) with 15 yrs of experience who is professionally trained, enhanced DBS checked, fully insured and a senior member of the UK Soo Bahk Do MDK federation (the sole governing body for the art in the UK). 

Our Ladies Kickboxing is run in six week blocks (check for next programme on our events page) in which you will learn practical kickboxing and self defence techniques. This is a fantastic fitness programme where you will be taught all the skills of kickboxing in a non-contact environment taught by the fully qualified full time Chief Instructor - Iain.

Our Family class is very similar in content to our beginners class with the exception it is open to all grades (newcomers welcome) it is a class for all ages and abilities when we teach the exciting dynamic and effective Korean style of Karate known as Soo Bahk Do. Class is suitable for everyone from eight to eighty years old we offer suitable challenges for all in a fun safe environment taught on Thursday evenings by Iain who is professionally trained, enhanced DBS checked, fully insured and a senior member of the UK Soo Bahk Do MDK federation (the sole governing body for the art in the UK). on Saturdays by either Iain or Neil - who is a certified Dan member of the UK Soo Bahk Do federation fully vetted by Mckinstry Family Martial Arts and insured through the club.

Class structure 1st hour is a general class teaching a range of techniques and is suitable for newcomers, beginners and our more experienced students at the hour mark we "bow out" and students may choose to leave at that point - for those who choose to stay on we have a brief comfort break then continue with Hyung (form) practice for a further half hour.
