April 22nd 2018 marks our 9th Birthday.

It's 9 years since McKinstry Family Martial Arts opened our doors at the Woodley Park Centre in Skelmersdale it's been an eventful time and seems to have flown past. We have had some turbulent times and more great ones. Over time we out grew our original venue and moved to both Glenburn Sports College and the Ecumenical Centre in Skelmersdale. In 2010 we made the short hop up the road and opened classes in Ormskirk Park Pool and Burscough Sports and Raquet Club, that's when our membership started to increase.

In 2011 we were so proud to be priveledged enough to bring our school into the World Moo Duk Kwan. We began the hunt for our own premises that was in a suitable location for all our students from Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Burscough and across West Lancashire. This turned out to be Unit 3, 2 Osprey Place, Burscough which we finally opened as our current Dojang in September 2013. It has been our dream to quit our day jobs and dedicate all our efforts to bring the wonderous benefits of our martial art to the people of Ormskirk, Burscough, Skelmersdale and beyond and we acheived this in 2015. We would like to continue to serve the good people of West Lancashire for many more years. We would also like to thank all our past and present students that still hold a special place in their hearts for the times they have shared with us, we hold you in our hearts also.
